Wondering about the title of this blog? You should know that this blog went unpublished for months because all the great title ideas I thought up (pages and pages of them) were already in use. (Which made for some great reading; after all, if I thought the title described me perfectly and someone else chose that title, surely we must be kindred spirits!) Eventually, I decided to reference two of my favorite books from my childhood. Harriet the Spy used a dumbwaiter as part of her spy route, and while I don't recommend breaking into people's houses and spying on them, it certainly illustrates curiosity and inventiveness!
